Aircraft Carrier w400 (Command, Communications, Control, Computers and Navigation) Weight Estimating
Similar to the w700 Weapon system weight estimating for estimating a
design's SWBS Group 400 Weapon System weight I have taken the weight data provided in Ref
CV1 and plotted it as shown below.
Since I haven't attempted to relate the w400 weights for a design to specifc combat systems such as I have tried to do in the surface combatant spreadsheets that I am putting together, as such the w700 weight estimate provided by this plot more represents a "weight budget" that the weights will likely typically fit within rather than an actual specific weight. However, I hope to eventually incorporate the w400 weight estimating methodology that I have put together for suface combatants here.
